Why I Built a Full CRM Into Traicee — And Why It Changed Everything

I didn't set out to build a CRM. But once I did, it unlocked something I hadn't anticipated — the ability to help TCs not just manage transactions, but actually grow their business.

I didn't plan on building a CRM. Honestly, when I started building Traicee, I thought transaction coordination was the whole story. Manage the file, hit the deadlines, close the deal. Done. But the more I worked inside the platform, the more I realized I had built myself into a corner.

Here's what happened. As Traicee matured, I kept bumping into the same wall. All of this incredibly useful data — clients, agents, transaction history, relationship patterns — was just sitting there with nowhere meaningful to go. Every transaction a TC completes is a data point. Every agent they work with is a relationship. Every closed file is proof of value delivered. But without a real CRM underneath all of that, those data points just evaporated. The transaction closed, the file archived, and the relationship essentially reset to zero. That felt like a massive missed opportunity, not just for me, but for every TC using the platform.

So I made the decision to build a comprehensive CRM directly into Traicee. Not a bolted-on afterthought. Not a third-party integration that kind of works if you squint. A real, native CRM that lives inside the same ecosystem where TCs are already doing their work. And building it that way — fully integrated — is what made the next step possible. Once I had that foundation, I could start layering in features that actually help TCs build their business, not just manage their files. That's where Coach and Insights came from.

Coach is something I'm genuinely proud of. It's designed to give TCs real, actionable guidance — the kind of perspective you'd get from a mentor who actually understands the business. Not generic productivity tips. Specific, contextual coaching tied to what's happening in their business right now. And Insights pulls from the CRM data to show TCs patterns they might not even notice on their own. Which agents are they closing the most with? Where are their transactions coming from? What does their volume look like quarter over quarter? These aren't vanity metrics. This is the kind of information that helps a TC have a real business conversation — with an agent, with a broker, or with themselves when they're deciding whether to raise their rates or take on more capacity.

What This Actually Means for TCs

I have enormous respect for transaction coordinators. The work is detailed, deadline-driven, high-stakes, and often invisible to everyone except the TC doing it. Most of the tools TCs have been handed were built for someone else — agents, brokers, teams — and then adapted, awkwardly, for TC workflows. What I wanted to build was something that treated TCs like the professionals they are. Business owners who deserve the same kind of infrastructure that any serious business runs on. A CRM isn't just an organizational tool. It's a signal that your relationships and your history matter. That your work compounds over time instead of disappearing the moment a transaction closes.

When a TC can open Traicee and see their full client history, get coaching nudges based on where their business actually is, and pull insights that help them make smarter decisions — that's a different experience than just checking off tasks in a transaction checklist. That's running a business. That's what I wanted to make possible, and the CRM is what made all of it buildable.
